Who is regulated, and by whom
Wexley Retirement Partners is the name under which plan reviews are offered to employers. Advice to a retirement plan is regulated investment advice. It is provided only through a registered investment adviser and only by a person licensed to give it (an investment adviser representative), under a written agreement that names the adviser, its registration and its fee.
The registered adviser through which Wexley provides advice, its CRD number, its Form ADV Part 2 brochure and its Form CRS relationship summary will be published on this page before the first advisory engagement is signed. Until then, this website offers information and a plan review built from public filings; it does not offer advisory services, and no advisory relationship is created by using it. Public registers: the SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure at adviserinfo.sec.gov and FINRA's BrokerCheck at brokercheck.finra.org.
How we are paid
The plan review is free and carries no obligation. If an employer later asks us to advise its plan, the fee is a flat annual amount or a percentage of plan assets, quoted in writing before anything is signed, and it replaces what the plan pays its current adviser rather than adding to it. We are paid by the employers we advise. We accept no commissions, revenue sharing or other payment from recordkeepers, fund companies or any other provider to a plan we advise.
Where Wexley introduces an employer to an adviser and is paid for the introduction, that arrangement is disclosed to the employer in writing at the time of the introduction, as the SEC Marketing Rule (Advisers Act Rule 206(4)-1) requires, and the adviser's compliance function approves every message sent in its name.
What the plan review is
Every 401(k) plan files a Form 5500 with the Department of Labor, and the filings are public. The review reads an employer's own filing and puts what it reports next to plans of the same size: reported fees and the providers paid, deposits of employee money, corrective distributions, the participant count against the audit threshold, and participation. Comparisons are to medians we compute ourselves from the full set of filings; the review names the filing year and the line each figure comes from.
Reported fees are the amounts a filing shows paid from plan assets. They do not include investment charges inside fund expense ratios or costs the employer pays directly, so a reported fee is not a plan's total cost and the review never calls it one. Public filings are a starting point; current fee schedules, service agreements and plan documents fill in the picture.
What this website is not
Nothing on this website is investment, tax, legal or actuarial advice, a recommendation to change any provider, or a prediction of savings or performance. No figure here is a quote. A late deposit or a corrective distribution reported on a filing is reported as the filing reports it; whether and how it should be addressed is a question for the plan's own advisers, and we do not state that any plan is out of compliance.
We use no participant data. The review is built from sponsor-level information on the public filing. Please do not send participant records, Social Security numbers or account credentials through this website.
Your information
What you share through the request form, how it is stored and how it is used are set out in the privacy notice. In short: it is used to respond to your request and for nothing else, it is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure with restricted access, and submitting the form does not commit you to anything.
Communications that are genuinely ours
Emails from Wexley carry the sender's name and this firm's name, a postal address, and a working unsubscribe line. We never ask for passwords, account credentials or participant data by email, and we never ask for payment before a written engagement exists. If you receive a message claiming to be from us that does any of those things, it is not from us.
Contact
The request form on the home page is the quickest route to a person. A direct email address, telephone number and postal address will appear here, and in every email we send, once the firm's registration is complete.
